Why Do Rescues Have Adoption Fees?

Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help For the Love of Poodles & Pooches cover vaccination and medical prep costs for the pets.

Adoption Fees:

$450.00 Adoption Fee

Fees for Dogs with special needs will be determined based upon circumstances and may result in a fee reduction.

Adoption Inclusions:

Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help For the Love of Poodles & Pooches cover vaccination and medical prep costs for the dogs. At adoption, For the Love of Poodles & Pooches dogs will be current on their vaccines and will have the following:

Dogs
  • Medical/Wellness Exam
  • Rabies (1 yr. or 3 yr.)
  • Bordetella
  • Distemper (DHLPP or DHLPP-C)
  • Negative Heartworm, Lyme's, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis Test
  • Altered - Females Spayed or Males Neutered
  • Dental: Cleaning and extraction of teeth, if needed
  • Micro-chipped
  • Fecal: Test for parasites and deworm accordingly
